Dashboards - what are they?
Web-based or desktop, a dashboards is an area where you can access your most important data all from one page!
Common examples are the BBC and Google homepages. You can view various items, for example reports, weather modules, star signs - things that you want on your dashboard.
Unsurprisingly, you control what you see. You can add, edit and remove items on your dashboard to make it most useful for you
A dashboard contains items that perform various functions including:
- Displaying reports
- Showing snapshots of summary data
- Display time, weather widgets
